1. Definitions

Driver – A user offering available seats in their vehicle
to passengers.

Passenger – A user booking a ride with a driver.

Trip – A scheduled ride including pick-up/drop-off
locations, time, and number of seats.

Booking – A passenger’s confirmation of a trip with payment
processed through our payment gateway.

Commission – The service fee charged by Rydwayz on each
trip.

Platform – The Rydwayz website and mobile application used
for ride-sharing services.
2. Eligibility
To use Rydwayz, you must:

Be at least 18 years old.

Have a valid email and phone number for OTP verification.

Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Drivers must additionally:

Hold a valid driver’s license.
-
Have active vehicle insurance and valid registration.
-
Complete profile verification, including a live selfie upload.
3. Use of Service & Responsibilities
All users must follow these guidelines when using Rydwayz:

Treat all members with respect.

Follow all traffic laws and drive safely (for drivers).

Arrive on time at the agreed pick-up location.
-
Keep communication within the platform before a ride is confirmed.
4. Payment, Fees & Cancellations
All payments on Rydwayz are processed securely via our payment gateway. No cash transactions are allowed.

Service Fee: Rydwayz charges a 15% commission per ride.

Payouts: Drivers receive earnings within 4 business days.

Refund Policy: No refunds after a driver accepts a booking. Full refunds only if the driver rejects the ride.

Cancellations: Drivers cannot cancel a ride after accepting. Repeated cancellations may result in suspension.
5. Driver Document Verification
Rydwayz manually verifies driver documents, including licenses, insurance, and vehicle registration. However, verification does not guarantee validity beyond document review.

Driver Responsibilities: Drivers must maintain valid documents and ensure their insurance allows carpooling.

Manual Review Process: Documents must be clear, consistent, and match the driver's registered name.

Liability Disclaimer: Rydwayz is not liable for expired or fraudulent documents.
6. Insurance & Liability Disclaimer
Drivers must have valid insurance and verify that their policy allows carpooling. Rydwayz does not provide insurance and is not liable for accidents, disputes, or damages arising from rides arranged through the platform.
7. Dispute Resolution
Users should resolve disputes directly. Rydwayz may intervene but does not guarantee resolution. If disputes cannot be settled, they may be referred to legal authorities.
8. Privacy & Data Security
Rydwayz collects and processes user data in compliance with its Privacy Policy. Users can request data deletion, but some information may be retained for legal compliance.
9. Termination of Accounts
Rydwayz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, including fraudulent activity, harassment, and repeated cancellations.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
